THE ASK :
We were challenged to create 3 print ads and pair those up with digital extensions using just one headline: “Twizzlers. The twisted candy.”


THE THINKING :
Predictable in taste and arguably a less glamorous sweet treat of choice—Twizzlers is a safety candy. Sadly, “safe” doesn’t always make for fun advertising. My partner and I knew we needed a twist (haha) to turn a candy like Twizzlers from a background character into an unforgettable candy.

“Twisted” was all we needed to put our wholesome little brains together and wandered into the fiery hells of our hyperactive imaginations.


THE EXECUTION :
A cold-blooded, maniacal campaign that takes place during the ominous days of October. We feature iconic movie villains in a deliciously twisted Halloween theme.

DIGITAL:
Twizzler’s out for blood (or maybe just some candy filling). We created an online game where users can help Twizzlers ‘torture’ other candies and then share the videos to Twitter.
